Green plant leaf Plant leaves are usually green in nature. Green plant produces food for itself using ultraviolet light with presence of chlorophil. This process is called photosynthesis. Chlorophil is a pigmentation agent that is green in color. Chlorophyl is the ingradient in plant that is used to production of energy for plant to survive.  The necessary element of plant that triggers chlorophyl production is magnesium and iron， sufficient level of water with presence of sunlight.
